Salamanca Erasmus Trips regresa de nuevo a la naturaleza para visitar los Arribes del Duero, la frontera natural que separa Salamanca de Portugal. La excursión visitará los Arribes españoles y cruzará la frontera para visitar los Arribes portugueses donde disfrutaremos de una estupenda tarde en su playa fluvial.
Comenzaremos la excursión visitando uno de los mejores miradores de esta zona (Picón del fraile) desde el que podremos apreciar la impresionante presa de Aldeadávila que ha sido escenario de la última entrega de Terminator o de clásicos del cine como Doctor Zhivago. Además de la presa veremos este impresionante entorno natural que separa España de Portugal por mediación del rio Duero y sus acantilados.
El viaje proseguirá con una corta ruta de senderismo de nivel básico para poder apreciar la belleza de este entorno natural y subir a otro de sus miradores más famosos (El Picón del Moro).
Después de dar un tiempo libre para comer (pic-nic) cruzaremos la frontera para disfrutar de una tarde de actividades deportivas, playa y baño en el río Duero en la localidad portuguesa de Congida (Freixo de espada a cinta).
Además de todas estas actividades gratuitas puedes hacer un paseo en barco por los Arribes del Duero o ir a la piscina que se encuentra junto a la playa fluvial de Congida. Ambas actividades son opcionales (no incluidas en el precio del viaje).

Salamanca Erasmus Trips returns to nature again to visit the Arribes del Duero, the natural border that separates Salamanca from Portugal. The excursion will visit the Spanish Arribes and cross the border to visit the Portuguese Arribes where we will enjoy a wonderful afternoon on its river beach.
We will begin the excursion by visiting one of the best viewpoints in this area (Picón del Fraile) from which we can appreciate the impressive Aldeadávila dam, which has been the scene of the latest installment of Terminator or film classics such as Doctor Zhivago. In addition to the dam we will see this impressive natural environment that separates Spain from Portugal through the Duero River and its cliffs.
The trip will continue with a short basic level hiking route to appreciate the beauty of this natural environment and climb to another of its most famous viewpoints (El Picón del Moro).
After having some free time to eat (pic-nic) we will cross the border to enjoy an afternoon of sports activities, beach and swimming in the Douro River in the Portuguese town of Congida ((Freixo de espada a cinta).
In addition to all these free activities, you can take a boat trip through the Arribes del Duero or go to the pool located next to the Congida river beach. Both activities are optional (not included in the trip price)
