Nuestra primera excursión de este semestre se centrará en la provincia de Salamanca, sus montañas y sus típicos pueblos. La excursión comienza en “LA PEÑA DE FRANCIA” (a 1 hora de Salamanca) donde disfrutaremos de unas vistas increíbles de las montañas de Salamanca. Allí visitaremos el Santuario de la Virgen de la Sierra de Francia y conoceremos sus leyendas.
El viaje continuará hacia "LA ALBERCA", un precioso pueblo típico de las montañas de Salamanca que miles de personas visitan cada año. Visitaremos la plaza mayor del pueblo y veremos las casas típicas de la arquitectura serrana. Durante nuestra visita a La Alberca tendremos tiempo para comer. Puedes traer un bocadillo o disfrutar de la gastronomía local en los diferentes bares y restaurantes que te encontrarás en el pueblo.
Después de la visita a La Alberca nuestro viaje proseguirá hacia “GARCIBUEY”, un pueblo famoso por integrar arte urbano en un entorno rural. Visitaremos los murales más populares de este pueblo para caminar después a una piscina natural en la que podremos bañaros y disfrutar de la tarde juntos. Las personas a las que le apetezca hacer un poco de senderismo, desde la misma piscina sale una ruta a “Peña Palomas”, un lugar con unas vistas muy bonitas (ida y vuelta 4.5 km aprox.)

Our first trip of this semester will focus on Salamanca’s region: its mountains and typical villages. The excursion will start at “LA PEÑA DE FRANCIA” (1 hour away from Salamanca) where we will enjoy an amazing view of Salamanca’s mountains. We will also visit the sanctuary of “La virgen de la Sierra de Francia” to learn about its legends.
The trip will continue to "LA ALBERCA", a beautiful typical town in the mountains of Salamanca that thousands of people visit every year. We will visit the town`s main square and see the typical houses of mountain architecture. During our visit to La Alberca we will have time to eat. You can bring a sandwich or enjoy the local cuisine in the different bars and restaurants that you will find in the town.
After the visit to La Alberca our trip will continue to “GARCIBUEY”, a town famous for integrating urban art in a rural environment. We will visit the most popular murals in this town and then walk to a natural pool where we can bathe and enjoy the afternoon together. For people who feel like doing a little hiking, from the same pool there is a route to “Peña Palomas”, a place with very beautiful views (approximately 4.5 km round trip).
